We got our start in 1979 with a handful of employees and a few service trucks. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the top electrical contractors in Colorado.

Safety is part of Duro Electric’s culture. Our team speaks openly about safety concerns, and we encourage employees to suggest improvements and innovations. We provide regular training to ensure our employees are working safely and following the latest codes and regulations.
Much of our work includes smart and sustainable construction practices, whether it’s a LEED certified project or our experienced team making recommendations on value-engineering, procurement and constructability.
We employ many LEED Accredited Professionals. And we continually train our employees on green code and energy requirements, including IECC 2015 standards, to help our customers achieve their sustainability goals.
